Operations Associate- Manufacturing

Position and Scope

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position will play a crucial role in our production process.


Responsibilities

  1. Build and assemble various components and products.

  2. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.

  3. Conduct troubleshooting and basic repairs as needed.

  4. Perform thorough testing of finished products and report any defects, issues, or recommendations.

  5. Maintain a well-organized warehouse by arranging materials like tools and products in an efficient manner.

  6. Implement inventory control measures to track and manage stock levels.

  7. Package and label products for shipment or distribution.

  8. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  9. Contribute to the cleanliness and orderliness of the production area and warehouse.

  10. Perform other duties as delegated by management.


What you bring

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Basic computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  3. Strong logical and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  7. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors and able to work independently and within a team environment.
  8. Positive can-do, team attitude.
 

Additional Requirements

  1. Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Travel Requirement

  1. This role may require occasional travel to customer sites.

  2. Ability to travel within Canada/US/International is considered an asset.
  3. Clean driving record and ability to rent a car is considered an asset.

  1. Onsite in Port Coquitlam office


Start Date

Salary Range

  1. $40,000 - $50,000
